Class Experience
Did you know that there are plants that eat bugs and small animals? Welcome to the world of carnivorous plants! In this class students will be introduced to three different carnivorous plants: venus flytrap, pitcher plants, and sundew plants! Throughout our class we will explore, discuss, and answer these questions and others: Why do these plants capture bugs and small animals? How do they lure and trap their prey? How do the plants "eat" the bugs that they trap? Don't forget to...
Students will be introduced to carnivorous plants- venus flytrap, pitcher plants, and sundew plants! Students will learn how each plant lures, traps, and digests its prey.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
