Class Experience
Drawing flowers is a creative activity like no other. During this fun and interactive class, your learners will gain knowledge of different types of flowers and complete a guided drawing of a flower garden. What to expect: -We will begin the class by introducing ourselves and sharing our thoughts about flowers (favorite types, how they grow, or ones they have grown) - I will read "Planting a Rainbow" by Lois Ehlert. - Students are encouraged to share thoughts throughout the book. - Together...
Acquire knowledge about flowers in our world Practice tracing skills Become familiar with various flower shapes Follow simple directions Develop creativity
Learners will be provided with a step-by-step template of a drawing they can complete outside of class.
- white paper - black marker - an object that has a small circular bottom to trace - coloring utensils (markers, crayons, colored pencils, glitter pens, etc.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
