Description

Class Experience

In this class we will research and discover the amazing power of plants. How they grow from a seed. We will look at the different parts of the plants, what each plant needs to grow, what is photosynthesis, do all plants need water, can a plant survive in the cold? These are a few things we will discuss. 

We will learn fun facts about plants, parts of a flower, discuss pollination, and what you need to create your own garden.

We will be using "Amazing Plant Powers" by Loreen Leedy and Andrew...

I have started lots of gardens at schools to help the children learn about plants. We have then eaten lots of the vegetables the children grew. I love watching children try new things because they were part of the process.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
