In this one-time class, students will demonstrate an understanding of the facts, locations, and unique qualities of the planets in our solar system. Students will be able to understand the many backgrounds of planets, how they got their names, and how the rest of the planets compare to Earth. Also, we will learn the answers to these frequent questions: “What makes a planet a planet?” “How were they discovered?”, and even, “Wait, why is Pluto not a planet anymore?!” After the lesson, students...
