Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to plan and organize the steps necessary to complete a project of their own. Students will learn questioning skills, how to break a task down, and how to plan for workable deadlines.
I am a credentialed teacher with over 20 years experience teaching Special Education, English, study skills in both collaborative settings and my own classroom. I have Master's Degrees in Special Education and School Counseling and earned an Ed.D. in Educational Psychology.
There is no homework. If student is coming for multiple sessions it is expected that work will be done on the project at home.
Students should bring all information about their project, any needed supplies to organize the project, writing tools, and a calendar or paper for organization. The calendar may be paper or digital and I may suggest other options depending on the nature of the project.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
