Plan Your Project: Get Help and Get Organized! (8-13)

In this ongoing class we will break any project down into manageable steps, create deadlines and check-ins, and create an organized plan to complete the project!  This class is perfect for students who struggle with organization or simply need a hand in organizing a project.

Learners may need help with a history report, a book report, an end-of-term cumulative project, their own creative writing assignment, a research project for class, or a special activity or competition outside of school.  Any multi-step project that requires planning over time would be an excellent choice to bring to a planning session.  Every week I help students in my classes plan out large projects and I can help you, too! 

Learners will come to the session with a new project and any questions about how to organize it.  During the first session we will look at the project, brainstorm what needs to be done, consider any obstacles or questions that need to be answered outside of the session, and create a personal calendar to complete the project on time!

This is listed as an on-going class.  However, students may register and then cancel for weeks they do not need support.  The session time will not be held, but you can message me to propose other times and dates.  In this way students may register for additional sessions for on-going support, a check-in or to regroup if challenges or questions have come up.

No experience necessary.  Students need to bring one specific project for us to organize.
