- Students will learn about the science behind biology, medicine, and infectious disease. They'll become familiar with how humans affect the world and how the world can affect humans.
I have a Masters degree from Tulane University in molecular biology with a particular emphasis in virology. I've published work on Dengue Fever and the immune system and I've taken the World Health Organization trainings on the Coronavirus. This class has been created with consultation with medical professionals on the front line of the COVID pandemic and all information is from peer reviewed journals.
It's a class about disease, so images and discussions of illness are obviously part of the class.
