US Grade Kindergarten - 3
This is an assessment session to help determine the best fit for a particular student. This assessment also gives the teacher information on what the student already knows and where they need help. Since Orton Gillingham is a method that requires tailor-made lesson planning and instruction, this assessment gives the teacher/tutor a starting place for planning the first lesson and a framework for future lessons. The materials used for this assessment include at least parts of the Gallistel Ellis (GE) Test of Coding Skills and The Gallistel Ellis Auditory Drill. This assessment can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and a half or more, depending on the student and what all needs to be covered. The tutor will attempt to keep it close to 45 minutes or less, and if the assessment takes long enough that a second session is needed, the second session will be completed free of charge. Please contact us via Outschool to make scheduling arrangements for this assessment session.
