Hello! In this One-Time class, learners ages 5-9 will explore place value in a fun and interactive way! We will first discuss what place value means, as well as digits in a number. We will discuss how to remember if a digit is in the tens or ones place with songs and demonstration. We will brainstorm numbers together and practice identifying the numbers in the tens and ones place. Then, we will use base-10 drawings to break apart numbers into tens and ones.
