Hello! My name is Bethany Snyder and have been teaching for 10 years. I have earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mathematics education and technology from Kutztown University and Wilkes University. I have taught various subjects in grade levels 4-7 in public school, but my absolute passion is teaching MATH!
My number one priority with every learner is to help inspire math confidence. Learners will feel safe and comfortable with my teaching approach.
To me, mathematics is all about using problem solving and critical thinking skills to figure out the puzzles. Each math problem is a riddle that begs to be solved, and I love to teach students fun ways to succeed in math!
Empowering students with perseverance, confidence, and specific skills to take on any mathematical challenge is what it is all about. It is extra important to me to help learners build self-confidence when it comes to math, so I approach every lesson I teach with that main goal in mind.
