1 live meeting
25 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
We will be creating pixel art of a robot during class. It is recommended that students join Zoom via a secondary device (phone, tablet, computer, etc) so that they are able to follow along on their own computer. We will start by opening and naming a Google Sheets document. We will resize the cells and then go over how to change the color of a cell. We will work together step by step as we use coordinates to create our pixel art. As time allows, students will be able to customize and share their robots. Students should be logged into a Google account on a desktop or laptop and have their browser open to a blank Google Sheets document.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to create and use basic functions of a Google Sheets document including naming, undoing, and manipulating cell size and color. They will learn to use coordinates to make pixel art.

Hello! My name is Miss Whitney! If you are interested in a class, but it isn't offered at a time that works for you, please reach out and I'll see what I can do!
I plan to teach fun and engaging classes related to reading, technology, ASL, and art. If you are interested in a class I don't have scheduled, please reach out! I was an elementary school teacher for three years, a high school seminary teacher for one, and an elementary computer teacher for one. For the past four and a half years, I've been teaching online to allow me to stay home with my children. I've always wanted to be a teacher because I have a love of learning and love working with children. I believe that making learning fun can make it easier. I love singing, reading, and Disney princesses! I'm excited to get to know your child!
