Students will listen to stories and ask and answer questions throughout the readings, practice taking turns talking, listening and sharing observations about pirates. We will also work on our gross motor and direction skills when we search for items at home on our scavenger hunt list and sing our pirate ship song, "Over the Deep Blue Sea", and fine motor skills when we search and count pirate pictures in our I Spy game.
2 files available upon enrollmentPlease print out the attached activities including the Pirate Scavenger Hunt list and the Pirate I Spy activity for use in and after class.
Because of the age of the class I recommend a grown up be within "ear-shot" to help with any technical hiccups (mic and video) that might come up. Please review the pirate scavenger hunt list before class so you can make sure at least some of the items listed can be easily found during our hunt!
