In this interactive class, students will enjoy a reading of Pinocchio, exploring themes of honesty and imagination. They will participate in a creative activity and have time to share their work, with an optional homework activity.

In this engaging class, students will enjoy an interactive reading of the timeless story of Pinocchio, diving into themes of honesty, self-discovery, and the power of imagination. As they listen to the story, they will participate in an age-appropriate, standards-based activity designed to help them connect with the valuable lessons and morals of the tale. The class will be structured as follows: 00:00-05:00 – Attendance and Class Rules 05:00-20:00 – Interactive Storytime and Introduction of Activity 20:00-25:00 – Independent Activity Time 25:00-30:00 – Sharing Time Students will work independently on the activity, reinforcing their understanding of the story’s themes, and will have the opportunity to share their work and ideas with the class if time permits. Additionally, an optional activity sheet will be provided as homework, encouraging further reflection on Pinocchio’s lessons of honesty and personal growth. Throughout the class, I will guide students with intention and flow, ensuring they not only engage with the story but also develop a lasting appreciation for the joy of reading. This class is perfect for fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love of literature in young learners.
