During this Live, One-time class, we will get Back-to-School ready with Pinkalicious: School Rules! We will begin by finding out when everyone will be heading "back-to-school" (whether at-home learning or in-person learning!) and what grade we will be heading into! Following getting to know each other a bit better, we will read our book "Pinkalicious: School Rules." After our book, we will watch and dance to our song "Back at School." Following our story and dancing, we will be creating an All About Me craft. The craft may require some prep work like filling in the blanks and cutting the pieces out if you, as the grown-up, are more comfortable with that. Your learner will be feeling back-to-school ready and say "School Rules!!!" afterwards! Plus - learners will have a great "All-About-Me" Gift for their teachers!

Our printouts needed for class will be posted in the classroom. In addition, the following will be needed: pencil crayons/markers/colored pencils scissors gluestick/glue Optional: yarn/string as "hair"

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (10) youngest daughter (8), and then the littlest one is 5years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
