Description
Class Experience
Learners will improve their understanding of why pinecones open and close. Learners will improve their understanding of what makes pinecones open and close.
5 OPEN pinecones (found or store bought from a craft store) White distilled vinegar Cooking oil (any type) Hot water Ice cold water 5 containers (one will be empty for open air)
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance and assistance will be needed for the hot water.
