Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Strengthen your core, stretch your spine, legs and arms in this weekly pilates mat class that helps learners relieve stress and add more physical activity to their week. Pilates is great for all exercise levels and abilities. 
This group class provides a weekly opportunity for learners to connect their mind and body in a supportive and positive environment. Led by expert instructor and former dance teacher Ashli Gauthier. This interactive online class is an extension of the work she has been doing with learners in person for many years. 
Each class learners will have the opportunity to share in a discussion about health and wellness topics while gaining an awareness of healthy habits for life. 
Here is a list of weekly themes that will rotate on going:
1. Week of January 15 core strength
2. Week  of January 22 spinal flexibility
3. week of january 29 hip strength and flexibility
4. week of February 5 Posture muscles and posture control

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Parents should help learners prepare their space with a mat or soft carpet with plenty of room to lay onthe floor and exercise. Water bottles for staying hydrated are always encouraged.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
