Description
Class Experience
• Certified Pilates instructor certified by Peak Pilates • 18 years teaching experience • Former Professional Dancer • Trained at School of American Ballet, Kirov Academy of Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
As with any fitness class, potential hazards exist. In order to minimize these things, students should take class in an open workout space, have a water bottle on hand if needed, be sure to adequately warm-up beforehand to reduce risk of injury, etc.
Students should have a workout mat (the best thickness for Pilates is between 8mm – 15mm). They should wear athletic attire (tee-shirts/ shorts are also suitable). Appropriate footwear is socks or barefoot.
