This energetic and challenging class is taught by a certified Pilates instructor and Doctor of physical therapy who has worked with children and teens for decades teaching dance, Pilates and fitness. Each class is an encouraging positive envirnoment that empowers our youth to strengthen and lengthen their way to health and wellness! We will start with introductions and a brief warm up and then move right into core work. We will work the abdominals, back muscles and hip muscles in a series of exercises ending with whole body exercises. Throughout the workout we will pay special attention to posture and alignment to get the most out of each exercise. I encourage learners to work hard and do their best! Learners will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions throughout the session. This class is open to all levels. It moves at a your learners' pace and provides a leveled workout. All exercises can be modified to meet the needs of the learners in each session by the instructor. No equipment is necessary.
