Description

Class Experience

By the end of this highly interactive and individualized, six-week author's club, your child will have been guided with all the tools and coaching necessary to write and illustrate their own book. The perfect outcome is that your child will have at least a completed final rough draft – if not fully illustrated – self authored book.

Authors will be expected to spend as much time as necessary (1 or more hours)  outside of class to work on writing, revising, and illustrating their books.

Each student will be expected to have the following;
A dedicated container for this class - such as a dollar store plastic storage box
To hold the following:
A Writer's Notebook (spiral bound or journal)
Blank Paper
A pocket type folder to hold any handouts
Sharpened pencils, eraser, markers or crayons for illustrations
A  dictionary of useful words will be sent out to be copied once you enroll.

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
