Description
Class Experience
This class is designed with student engagement in mind. Young students need plenty of opportunities to respond in order to continue their focus during virtual classes. This class will begin with a sharing time when all students will be encouraged to tell the class about something important to them. This provides the class some bonding time and encourages each student to take some ownership of the class. The book will be read aloud using a slide presentation, and students will be encouraged...
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to compare what "good" and "bad" sharing looks like and identify the feelings which motivate each character's behavior. Students will make a "sharing plan" with their parent after a discussion time with the class.
I have a master's degree in special education with an emphasis in behavior, and I teach daily social skills in my brick-and-mortar school.
Students can complete a "sharing plan" with their parents.
I will email the needed documents to each learner
There will be no assessment for this class
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
