This one-time class is a joyful, shared reading & singing experience. Bring your pig or farm animal toy for show & tell. We'll sing a "pig hello" song, read "The Pig in the Pond" story, then sing & dance to the Piggy Jig song.

US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
This is an early childhood music and storytime class in a print-rich and prop-filled environment. We will get to know each other, and I'll give each student a chance to share with the class a toy or object on the theme, like a stuffed animal pig, cow, horse, or any other farm toy, or anything else they want to show and tell about. Then I'll show them their name card and practice the first letter and sound in their name or give them a chance to spell their name if they'd like. Next, we will...

This class will strengthen social/emotional development, reading comprehension skills, coordination, and large motor development. It will increase creativity and imagination and allow for self-expression. Music and reading improve and enhance language development and school readiness.
Class is taught by a caring, experienced preschool music and theater educator. With a bachelor's degree in theater and vocal performance and over 25 years as a professional singer, actress, director, and teacher, I bring high energy, fun, and confidence to every class I teach, and take great care to attend to and acknowledge each child as a unique and valued individual.
No materials are required, but students may choose to bring a pig or farm animal toy or book to class.
