Picture This! Picture Prompt Writing Class
In this one time class, participants will learn a basic grammar rule and then apply it as they write a series of short stories based on the picture prompts they see.

Learners will use their imaginations to write short and creative stories based on a series of 4-6 picture prompts. Before diving into writing, participants will review a short grammar lesson and would be encouraged to use what they learned in their story writing. Creativity is encouraged in this class! This is a safe space to express yourself and your ideas! I strive to create a classroom where each learner is acknowledged, heard, and supported. I look forward to seeing your learner in class!

Students will improve their grammar, writing, and presentation skills via picture interpretation.

Greetings! I'm Courtney and so pleased to meet you! I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University, a Masters Degree from The City University of New York, and a TESOL from Arizona State University.
For the past 7 years, I have worked with a startup as a professional college essay writer and have taught writing and literacy skills in-person and online to both K-12 and adult learners. In these classes, I would engage all of my learners in topics that were of interest to them. This allowed for speedy growth and progress in every aspect of their literacy, speaking, and writing development.
My classes are writing, conversation and literacy-based. Expect a book club, a creative writing class, a social club, and fun trivia as a few of my course offerings.
In my classes, I take a communicative approach to learning. I strive to meet your student where they are in their learning journey and support them from there. Whether it is a 1-day class or a 5-week class, the attention I give to your learner (and you) is personalized.
Speaking of personal, I am a mother of a wonderful 8 year-old. His creative and imaginative personality helps fuel mine. Also, I am from New York City and elephants, lemurs, coffee, and cooking are some of my favorite things.
