Class Experience

Students will learn more about foods they don't like and become more comfortable with the idea of trying new, healthy foods.
I have an M.S. in health education and a B.S. in health, wellness, and nutrition.  I have spent most of the last decade developing and teaching curriculum for youth and family community health programs.   I've had the opportunity to teach many families how to incorporate healthy choices into their lives
Week 1. Brussels sprouts, potatoes, prunes Week 2. Yellow squash, sweet corn, watermelon Week 3. Broccoli, carrots, raspberries Week 4. Cabbage, pumpkin seeds, cherries Week 5. Turnips, olives, cantaloupe Week 6. Celery, hummus, tangerines
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
