In this one-time class, learners will read a story written by me, the teacher, about a horse named Pickles. Before reading, we will go over important words seen throughout the story. Some of the words will have pictures under them to help new readers remember the words. Learners will be encouraged to take turns reading the story, however, if they wish to just follow along and listen that is fine too. The story has short repetitive sentences for learners to become familiar with the words...
Students can start to learn to read by using some picture clues and repetitive sentence structures. Beach vocabulary. Colors.
I have a 120 TEFL certification and I have been teaching children online for over 2 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree which will help with questions about horses. I also enjoy going to the beach.
