Description

Class Experience

Each day of the two day course students will learn how to calculate a percent of a number and apply it to real life practice of comparing coupon deals.  Each 50 minute session will include a 15 to 20 minute mini lesson from the teacher and allow for an estimated 30 minutes of activities and practice. Students will practice calculating a percent of a number.
Students will practice comparing percentage values to assess which deal saves them the most money.

To engage in all courses, students will need stable internet and a device capable of video conferencing with working audio and visual needs.  Headphones are encouraged to ensure minimal background interruption from influences outside of our virtual classroom.  Students are expected to maintain a notebook dedicated to their coursework and have necessary writing utensils.

Learners will be informally assessed through private feedback during class via the chat box, as well as, through a reflective Quizizz activity concluding each live session.
