Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class we will learn the basics of piccolo playing. We will cover topics such as embouchure, breathing, playing in tune, instrument care and maintenance, phrasing, and technique.

Each meeting will feature opportunities for students to ask specific questions and to play for each other. This will help give everyone a chance to get what they need from the class and to gain confidence in their performance abilities. The instructor will also spend some time in each class lecturing about a specific topic related to piccolo playing. We will also work on band music based on student requests.

Overall, this is meant to be a fun, helpful, and supportive learning environment.
