In this ongoing art club, artists will meet once a week to create art using acrylic paint and watercolors! We will learn about art from other artists and painting techniques! Each week, learners will be introduced to a new artist, culture, element of art or painting technique. Then we will create a painting with step-by-step instructions. Learners are always encouraged to be creative and make their art unique through self-expression. We will end our class with sharing and discussing our finished pieces with each other! This is an ongoing class, so students are welcome to jump in at any time. I will post the schedule and projects a few weeks in advance. Please refer to the supply list so that you know what to bring in order for your learner to be successful in class. *Occasionally, I will switch around the order of the projects* WEEKLY LESSONS: Aug 15-19: Ocean Wave Aug 22-26: Water Drop Aug 29-Sept 2: Geodes (watercolor) Sept 5 - Sept 9 : Vase of Flowers Sept 12-Sept 16: Color Wheel Eye Sept 19-Sept 23: Warm/Cool Trees Sept 24 - Sept 30: Perspective Pumpkins Oct 3 - Oct 7: Pumpkin Patch Landscape Oct 10 - 14: Haunted House Silhouette
