Class Experience

In this one-time class, the students will learn about the artist Picasso. The students will learn about the type of art he uses . It is called cubism. The students will be shown pictures of his painting. The students can tell the class, what they like about his painting. The students will be making a Picasso face clay art project. I will be doing the clay art project with the students. The students can tell the class their favourite part of their face, eyes, noise etc. At the end of the class, the students can show their art project to the class.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal  and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years. 

In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.

I have my  Diploma of College Studies in  Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.

I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones. 

My philosophy is that students' interests matter  and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator.  I believe that students learn and strive  at  their own pace.  I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led .  I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led  and engaging for each student . The students  will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
