I have a bachelors degree in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia, a masters degree of Kodály in Music Education from Loyola University Maryland, and 10+ years experience of Blues/Boogie Woogie improvisation on the piano. I'm incredibly passionate about passing on what I've learned about piano improvisation to students, as I wish I had more access to high quality improvisation instruction when I was younger.
1-2 hours of practice is recommended per week.
Only access to a piano or keyboard will be needed for the zoom lesson. If possible, the webcam should be pointed at the keyboard so the teacher is able to see the student's hands.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
