All of my students have been working very hard and deserve an opportunity to showcase some of their favorite songs. Piano recitals help students become more comfortable playing in front of others and learn how to prepare a song to be performance-ready. It also allows them to meet other piano students and see what other students are working on. Students may choose 1-3 songs to perform. We will practice recital etiquette, including bowing at the piano and clapping for other students. While parents may not be in view of the camera during the recital, they may watch from the side. Please sign up for the recital by October 13th so that we have time to prepare your chosen song(s). The length of the recital may vary based on the number of participants and the number of songs, but it should last between 30 and 50 minutes. All songs must be secular.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! Thanks for checking out my classes! After almost two years of trying out new classes, I've found my niche in piano lessons and music classes. I've been playing the piano since I was 5 years old and I now play for my church about once a month. Piano has always been a way for me to relax and take time for myself, and I'm excited to help kids find a similar love for piano.
I'm currently a graduate student working toward a doctorate in occupational therapy. I love helping kids reach their goals, explore their abilities, and pursue their passions, so my dream job is a pediatric occupational therapist. I've been babysitting for about 11 years in addition to teaching Sunday School, piano lessons, and working at summer camps. I have also tutored high schoolers and participated in College Mentors for Kids. In my free time, I like to read, play piano, and hang out with friends and family. I also have a cat, Luigi, who likes to say hi during some of my classes!
I can't wait to get to know you and your learner! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send me a message!
