This is a beginning piano class that is the next step after Primers I. Previous Primer I class enrollment is needed to take this class. We cover the following topics in class: the grand staff, bass clef, note names and how to find them, and rests. We begin to learn to read music in this class. We will be identifying notes on both the treble clef and bass clef staves. We will begin the class with finger exercises and a quick warm-up. We will then begin covering material that is...
Students will begin to learn how to read music on the grand staff.
Students will be asked to practice their assigned piano book pages three times a week.
