Piano Performance Masterclass
In this one hour class students will gain performance experience by playing a piece of their choice and then receiving constructive, positive feedback from both the instructor and their peers, through moderated discussion.
What's included
1 live meeting
1 in-class hoursClass Experience
Each student will play a 2-4 minute piece of their choice, and will receive constructive, positive feedback from the instructor, as well as other students. Areas of feedback will include, but are not limited to: technique, interpretation, posture, and stage presence. Since performing can be stressful, the class will be conducted in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. In order to get the most from the class, students should have an early-intermediate to advanced piece prepared to perform. Memorization is not required.
Learning Goals
Students will gain valuable experience performing in front of other musicians, and will be able to use the feedback they receive to become better, more musically informed performers.
