This Piano Music Class Series supplement will focus on learning Beethoven's Fur Elise! We will work on Treble Clef notes, Bass Clef notes, counting rhythms, using repeats with 1st and 2nd endings, arpeggios, chords, and proper fingerings.

Class Experience

Piano Music Class Series 

Pre-requisite for enrollment in Piano Music Class - Fur Elise! is Piano Music Class #4, Piano Music Class #5, or an email describing the learner's previous experience with a piano teacher or classes.

The progression of classes in the Piano Music Class Series:
1) First 4 Piano Lessons or Piano Music Camp!
2) Piano Music Class #1
3) Piano Music Class #2
4) Piano Music Class #3
5) Piano Music Class #4

Learners in this class should be able to play the entire Fur Elise by the end of the class if they use the time between classes to practice the new material.

Practice time of 1-2 hours total per week is necessary to retain the new material and review the previously learned material.

I will provide slideshows with the weekly music for learners to print with some letter hints.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

There is no assessment in this class, however, there is a preformance opportunity in class #12/12 for learners to demonstrate the entire song or the portion of the song that is practiced to completion.

1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
