In this 4 week course that will meet twice a week, learners will continue learning piano using pre-reading approach and playing songs on the white keys.
Class experience
Note: This class is part 2 of "Piano Made Fun" multi-day course.
In this class we will continue working through the book "Piano Made Fun" and cover units 4 and 5. We will learn/review finger numbers, groups of two and three black keys. We will also learn music alphabet, names of the white keys, and practice finding them on the piano. We will learn to play songs on the white keys.
Lesson 1: We will learn the music alphabet and the names of the white keys and play and improvise on...Access to a piano or piano keyboard Piano book "Pre-Reading Made Fun" blue starter book by Kevin and Julia Olson, available on amazon or sheetmusicplus.com. Pencils Additional worksheets will be provided
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners may need parent's assistance during the lesson, as well as help with practicing outside the lesson.
