Description
Class Experience
Introduce students to a love of making music. Help students feel comfortable at the keyboard. Help students feel confident that they can make music. Learn to play music and read some music.
Music has been my profession for my adult life. Teaching piano has been my job and enjoyment for many years. I pay attention to my students and respond to their cues. I am good at getting students started at the piano/ keyboard.
——-I will be giving the homework assignments at the end of class. Please have a spiral notebook ready with a pen or pencil for writing assignments
Keyboard or piano needed. The following books will be used. I recommend purchasing all, as we will be using and discussing all: Alfred Basic Piano Library Lesson Book Level 1A (This book may be available in Kindle format from Amazon) Alfred Basic Piano Library Theory Book Level 1A Alfred Basic Piano Library Technic Book Level 1A All books are available from Amazon in paperback.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
