Homework
1-2 hours per week. In between lesson times students should continue to work on the song worked on in class applying the techniques discussed during the lesson. During the following lesson we will either refine your current song, or start working on a new one!Class Experience
Private Piano Students for beginners will learn the basics of piano including sheet music, scales, chords, rhythms and keys. We will learn about basic music theory and put it to practice in the songs that we play throughout class. Students will learn how to play with both hands and use exercises to build dexterity in their fingers. Learning sheet music and chords will help students be able to translate songs they hear into something they can play, and even sing along to if they want. All ages welcome! No experience needed. If you don't see a time that works for you, please feel free to reach out and we'll make it work!
