Class experience
Private Piano Students for beginners will learn the basics of piano including sheet music, scales, chords, rhythms and keys. We will learn about basic music theory and put it to practice in the songs that we play throughout class. Students will learn how to play with both hands and use exercises to build dexterity in their fingers. I am a professional Theatre Artists and musician working in NYC. I have worked as a singer and actor on Cruise Lines, Regional Theatre's and Workshops of new musicals in NYC and around the country. I am also a singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist and have released music on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music Etc. I have sang in a few bands and as a solo artist.
Homework Offered
In between lesson times students should continue to work on the song worked on in class applying the techniques discussed during the lesson. During the following lesson we will either refine your current song, or start working on a new one!1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
