Beginner - Intermediate Level
Students will meet with me for a one-on-one piano lesson. Each lesson will be tailored to each student's goals and needs, as well as focus on developing piano technique if necessary. I want lessons to be fun and enjoyable, so students that have already taken piano lessons will be free to suggest pieces they would like to play, though I reserve the final say on what we work on. If I do not believe they are ready for their suggested piece, I will provide pieces that are similar, fun, and that they will have success with. Beginner students should expect an education of understanding of basic note value, finger numbers, and basic piano technique. Lessons will be assigned songs to practice on. Different ways of learning theory will be introduced. Parents may be required to purchase music or music books. The instructor will send Amazon links on what books to buy for the lessons.
