Piano Junior is a fun, high energy one time piano exploration class! This class will introduce your child to beginning piano/music concepts with puppets, singing and movement activities. The main goal of this class is to get your child excited about playing an instrument in the future. This class is also a great way to gauge your learner's interest in piano. Here are some of the concepts we will cover in this class: Fast (Presto) Slow (Largo) Loud (Forte) Soft (Piano) Black and White High Sounds/Low Sounds Finger Names Right Hand/Left Hand Musical Alphabet Simple trick to find and name white keys Following Directions Rhythm To reinforce the concepts learned, please feel free to have your child take the class a second time! If the times of this class don't work for you please send me a message and request another time.

Students will learn basic musical concepts that will lead them to playing piano in the future.

Supply List
A piano or keyboard is not required for the class (if you have one you are more than welcome to play along in the class). If you do have one, you can use it to practice the concepts after class- I have provided some activities in the classroom.
