A piano or keyboard with at least 60 keys, or 5 octaves. A weighted keyboard with pedals is preferred. A bench or chair at a proper height is required, as is the lesson book, Music Moves for Piano, Book 3, by Marilyn Lowe ($18-20) and the Writing Book 1 ($12).
Students who attend regularly and complete assigned work will be on track to continue to the second part of the book (a different class) and complete Book 3.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Younger students may need help practicing and staying on top of the work they have. Students may be doing some light movement while doing rhythm patterns, and should make adjustments for their bodies as necessary
