In this 5-week course, the student is taught the basics of reading music, how to play songs, music theory and proper technique with a balance of fun and solid music education via videos, worksheets and fun assignments.

Beginner Level
Flex #2 takes off from Flex #1. We'll review what was taught in Flex #1. Learning the layout of the keyboard, proper posture, the beginnings of reading music and other music theory, extra material to bring a wider music education and enjoyment. All of my Flex classes review quite a lot since there is so much to learn and digest. In this Flex #2 we'll also add scavenger hunts involving a Disney song and Mozart (that Classical composer you may have heard about). The class is structured with one new song via video, a theory worksheet, and a fun music activity for each lesson. The style of teaching is lighthearted with the challenging goal of playing piano. Upbeat, positive feedback in a personalized manner to encourage the student to feel good about themselves and about music. Students can interact with me as much as they want. I love to talk to them, whether by writing messages or sending additional videos should they desire extra assistance or just want to experience a connection with someone who has their best interests in mind.
Learning Goals
Students will be taught how to play songs on the piano and the beginning of music theory, reading music, anad opening their eyes to other aspects of music via the scavenger hunts and Kahoots.

Students are given feedback on their homework.
Pre-Requisites
The student should take the Flex #1 if they have never taken piano lessons or if they have only previously only taken a group lesson, or if they haven't received education on note values, layout of piano keys, etc.
