This class is a class for students that have finished Level 1 Piano. This monthly class can be taken repeatedly until the student has finished their 2A Level Piano Book. This class is structured so that student can work at their own pace in their piano lesson book and get feedback from the teacher, as well as have opportunities to play piano in a group setting. The class will be structured as following: Theory Lessons (10-15 minutes of class time): November 1: 8th notes and 6/8 time signature November 8: Naturals, Sharps, and Flats November 15: Intervals 2-5 November 22: Tonic and Dominant *Syllabus is subject to change for theory lessons -Individual Practice Time - Students will have time to work on their individual pieces. I will work with each student to make sure they are able to start their practice successfully, as well as listen to their progress. Students will have multiple opportunities throughout the class to play for each other. If students need a practice video, one will be provided in the classroom (via link to Google Drive). Students' homework will be to practice their music at least four times a week along with Kahoot to assess their learning from the piano theory lesson.
