This one time class is for the student who has no experience playing the piano. They will be introduced to the basics of the piano. Students will learn the following: (1) Piano technique - How to play and sit at the piano (2) The Pattern of the Black Keys (3) Finger Numbers - Each finger is assigned a number one through five (4) The high and low pitches on the Piano (5) Learn a Song - Learn the main "Riff" of the song "Blinding Lights" This class will be taught using...
At the end of the class students will know how to play with proper piano technique, become familiar with the layout of the keys, identify finger names, recognize high and low pitches, and play the song Blinding Lights.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
