After completing this session, you will be able to: List the four major components of physical fitness Describe the three primary processes that influence cardiorespiratory endurance and the importance of cardiac output and how to measure it Discuss the body’s acute response to aerobic exercise and the chronic training adaptations to aerobic exercise Discuss neuromuscular physiology and the influence of muscle-fiber types Identify the role of hormonal responses to exercise Identify adaptations to make when exercising in the heat, cold, high altitude, and air pollution
Dr. Bryan is a department chair of Health and Fitness Science who instructs collegiate classes in Anatomy, Physiology, and Exercise Science.
All materials supplied by instructor
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Throughout the lecture, there is an opportunity for questions and answer portions.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents are invited to listen in so as to aid their child in the types of training they may wish to engage in for physical activity!
