How do rockets launch into space? Why do roller coasters feel weightless? What happens if you travel close to the speed of light? This course helps students explore the forces shaping the universe through interactive experiments, real-world applications, and creative problem-solving. Designed for all learners, including neurodivergent (ASD, ADHD, 2e), gifted, and hands-on thinkers, this course provides structured yet flexible, step-by-step instruction with a focus on understanding physics through real-world experiences instead of memorization. 💡 What Makes This Course Different? ✅ Step-by-step guided instruction—Concepts are introduced clearly, ensuring full understanding before moving forward. ✅ Hands-on experiments & real-world problem-solving—Learn physics by doing, not just watching! ✅ A structured yet flexible approach—Supports different learning speeds and styles. ✅ Alternative to traditional science instruction—Perfect for students who need a more engaging, practical approach. ✅ Confidence-building & curiosity-driven—Mistakes are part of learning! We encourage critical thinking, questions, and discovery. 📌 Who Should Take This Class? Gifted & twice-exceptional (2e) learners who enjoy deep discussions, logical reasoning, and creative problem-solving. Students with ADHD, ASD, or other neurodivergent traits who need a structured but adaptable learning style with visual and hands-on activities. Hands-on learners who struggle with abstract science and need practical applications to grasp concepts. Any student who is curious about how the universe works and wants to explore physics in a fun, interactive way! 📅 Meets 2x per week for 16 weeks 🔬 No prior physics knowledge required! 🎯 Includes hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and real-world applications. 🚀 Final Project: Apply physics principles to design an invention or solve a real-world problem!

Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Tiffany, and I am absolutely passionate about making math and science accessible, engaging, and meaningful for ALL learners—especially those who think differently.
While my primary academic focus is in applied mathematics and computer science, I have studied physics extensively in both high school , college and beyond through years of self study. I integrate physics concepts into my teaching, using an interdisciplinary approach that connects math, science, and real-world applications. My experience includes teaching physics-related topics such as astrophysics, geophysics, space science, and engineering principles, with a focus on making these subjects engaging and accessible to diverse learners, including neurodivergent, 2e and gifted students."
I love to share my knowledge of physics in a structured, step-by-step way that is perfect for learners who struggle with traditional methods. My courses include real-world applications, hands-on experiments, and visual models to help students truly understand physics concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. I particularly enjoy working with learners who need a flexible and engaging approach. If your child loves asking 'why' and enjoys exploring how the universe works, my physics course is the perfect fit!
