Science, Physics: (Part 2 of 3) In this class, students will gain a basic understanding of the basics of waves and the different types of waves important to physics (sound, light, and special waves).
Class Experience
US Grade 6 - 9
This class is designed to provide an introduction to the basics of waves, an important concept in Physics. Many topics will be covered over this 5 week class that will give the student a basic understanding of the physics behind waves, to include physical waves, sound waves, light waves, and some unique and special waves. - Students will have a basic understanding of the basics of waves. This will prepare them for follow on courses in the realm of physics or other sciences.
I have taught chemistry and chemical engineering at the college level, and have a PhD in nuclear engineering. I have been teaching all disciplines of science to home school elementary, middle and high school students for 12 years. I know how to present science in a fun way to boost students interest in the subject.
