Class Experience

Beginner Level
This class will be part 2 of a middle and high school physics class

The class will be structured with 2 classes each week for 45 minutes a period. There will be some presentation, some problem solving and practice
My teaching style flexible with a mix of instruction, independent practice, examples, videos
There will be some direct instruction, some discussion, some math practice
We will be doing some scientific notation, and basic algebra. Students shouldn't feel the need to have already mastered this since it will be taught in class, but it'll be an expectation. We'll also be perusing some of the NASA databases for asteroid info.
Learning Goals
Students will learn some basic rocket science.
