Photoshop is the archetypal digital art and graphic design program and remains one of the best photo editing programs-- and now you can use a free version, Photopea! In this one-time class, students will cut and paste photos to create a superhero-themed fantasy scene. Students are encouraged to use photos of themselves and/or family members. As a teacher with a Masters in Art Education, I taught 6 sections of Computer Technology in Art Education to 2nd year college students. I also used to teach Computer Art 1, 2, and 3 in a public high school.
Materials Needed 💻 Computer or Laptop (Photoshop doesn't work on Chromebook.) 💻 Photoshop or Photopea 💡 If you have a good internet connection, you can use the free, online Photopea software, which works just like Photoshop, even on a Chromebook. You can find it here: https://www.photopea.com/ 💻 Access to Wikipedia to download images
