This one-time class will teach learners the photography terminology (such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, bokeh, etc.) all beginner photographers should know! We will discuss the term definitions and how they apply to photography to help provide a knowledgeable foundation for further learning. The first portion of the class will be a lecture presentation walking learners through the terms. Followed by a Q&A for learners to ask followup questions. Learners may ask questions live via video chat or through the chat box. No previous knowledge is required! I will provide learners with a definition list prior to class, but I do recommend they have a pencil & paper prepared to take notes.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! My name is Leah! I have been working as a professional photographer for 10 years providing mainly commercial photography. I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge with others and love hosting photography workshops and working with kids. My approach to teaching is all about full immersion; I believe it first learning a topic, testing that knowledge, then applying it in a hands-on approach. My little sister began working with me when she was just 8 years old (she's now 18) and has gone from helping me carry bags at shoots to now second-shooting and working as my main editor.
