This summer camp intensive meets 5 days over the course of 1 week, for 45mins per day. This class is an excellent match for students who want support in continuing to explore creative photography over the summer. 

If students have skills in manual photography (Manual DSLR Photography 101 for Kids graduates), they will be able to continue using those skills... but any camera will work for this class, and manual photography knowledge is not required --  anyone ages 8-12 is welcome to join!

Each day students will learn about famous photographers from history, the evolution of photography through history, or be inspired by exciting contemporary photographers. Each day will feature a new project/prompt, and, starting Tuesday, the opportunity to share their work from the previous assignment with the others in the class. The last day they will present the last project, there is no new assignment. 

Projects will vary somewhat between weeks of camp, if you want to sign up for more than one week feel free to message me about how much similarity there will be. Depending on scheduling, some camps may have peer mentor "camp counselors" from my Advanced Workshop for teens classes (students who have been in classes with me for 20-50+ weeks), adding a layer of social interaction and peer support and feedback.
