About the Class: This class is to be a great place to share, grow and learn the art of photography. This class is designed to be a summer camp style class, where students can come, enjoy being creative, and learn how to grow that creativity and skill. I use a variety of videos information, and examples to share and teach this information. The class is meant to be interactive and let students share and grow! About the Teacher: I have been a photographer for over a year, and love what I do. In addition to teaching, I run a photography business. I have taken my share of portraits and landscapes, and edited hundreds of pieces. I also have a Marketing Master's Degree and ran a marketing and logo department for a few companies before becoming a teacher. You can find the layout for class in the syllabus. But here is a quick run-down. Class Topic Layout: Class 1 - We will discuss basics of photography, each student's camera and what functions they have. We will learn about angles, distance, photography terms (ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed). Task: Take a photo using the terms we discussed if your camera allows. If not, take two different photos. Class 2 - I will discuss my favorite editing tools, programs, and settings. I will also show them some options and we will discuss which looks better and why. Task: They will edit their two photos from the previous week. Class 3 - This class will allow students to share their final photo with edits and share why they chose it and how they edited it. they will then get to give insight on each other, view some of mine, and ask any final questions. Refund and Pause Policy: 1. If a makeup class is set by me due to a change on my end, you will not receive a refund. You can access recordings and all resources. 3. I will not refund or move students within 48 hours of the start of class. If you ask on the day of class or after, no refund will be given.
