Class Experience

This class will help your artist gain confidence in using Manual Mode with their DSLR or Mirrorless Cameras. Each week students will learn a new photo technique (listed below). I will deliver a visual presentation about the weeks technique, take questions and with extra time practice our new technique together. Each week learners will be given a photo prompt using the new technique that they will need to capture before the next class. Each student will present their photo and as a class we will have an open discussion about their work. Each weeks technique will be visually presented during class where I will show examples through my own and other artists work. I will also demonstrate how each technique can be achieved.

My teaching style is all about fun! This will be a calm, relaxing and safe environment where students have the freedom to create and talk with other artists. I will encourage students to use their imagination and creativity in their work. We will be discussing our work as a class. All artists will be encouraged to share their photos as well as discuss others work. There is a zero tolerance policy on bullying. All artists will be respectful, encouraging and constructive or they will not be allowed in class.
